Basic guide for installing addons shown here

  • Curse Gaming - hundreds of addons for wow, from status bars to sound effects.
  • Guild Event Manager - EVERYONE is urged to install this addon. It allows you to view and signup for any raids or parties that are organised.
  • Trinity Bars - Properly the best bar mod to date, loads of options and funtions to setup your actions how you like. Well worth installing.
  • Titan Bar - For those of you that dont want tons of "complicated" addons this is for you. Main features are : 1. Ammo/Thrown 2. Bag 3. Experience (XP) 4. Latency 5. Location 6. PVP Honor 7. Memory used. Simple to install. Get it now!
  • SuperInspect - This addon allows you to inspect people, more options than the default Blizz inspect function.
  • Flight Paths - Timers, costs and available routes, this addons will also show you where the Flight Master is.
  • Necrosis - Warlock addon to look after the shards and various timers for lock spells
  • Auctioneer - Auctioneer will make managing your auctions easier, and allow you to see prices on almost all sellable items found in game.
  • Gatherer - Anyone with a gathering profession should use this. It tracks locations of anything you have picked up and also, using a shared channel, tracks locations of thing picked up by other guild memebers which is then viewable on the map.
  • CTmod - numermous options and settings including a very handy de/buff bar which is far better than the blizz default.
  • WIM - MSN for WOW, what more needs to be said? track conversations across alts, saves chat history, set filters to block whispers before they appear (i.e. block any /w with "gold" in it), and much more. If you havent tried it yet, do so now.
  • Movable Bags - Allows you to move, and remember, your bags around your screen so they always open in the same place.
  • Bank Items - An addon that remembers the contents of your bank and display them anywhere in the world. Also able to remember/display the banks of any character on the same account on any server.

  • Raid Specific

  • CT Raid Assist - used in all raids, all raiders must install this addon.
  • Threat Metres - Threat Metres basically shows a list of who has aggro on a mob and what place they are on that list so you know whether to pick up the damage or recude it, mainly used on instance bosses but a very handy tool. Notes : useless if no one else has it.
  • KTM Autohider - The addon above, Threat Metres, always have the meter shown all the time, this addon hides it unless you are in a raid group.
  • Decursive - an addon to auto select and remove debuffs from people in your party/raid. Extremely useful and a required install for raiding.

  • General Fight Addons

  • Scrolling Combat Text (SCT) - in a nutshell, you can config the damage/heal text that appears on your screen. WOW has this built in now but its no where near as configurable. Mixed with SpellAlert this addon rocks.
  • Damage Metres - Used by a lot of people, this addon collections damage done by all party members and tracks it using bars so you can see your place. It also tracks healing, over-healing, debuff removal and more.
  • HitsMode - HitsMode bascially customises your combat log to be far more readable in a hurry, with colour coded damage given and taken you can "at a glance" see whats hitting you and how bad it hurts as well as see how much you are hurting the mob. Highly recommended.
  • Natur EnemyCastBar - Very handy addon that tracks cooldowns on mobs, hordes and bosses. It shows (in bar format with timers) which skills a mob has on left on an ability i.e. mages Ice Block or how long left until a mob can use an ability i.e. Taurens War Stomp. Very, very useful.
