   Guild Rules

Outlined below are the basic rules of the guild, all members are expected to abide by all rules at all times.

  • You MUST register on the forum and view at least the announcements once a week. Failure to do so and thus breaking a rule or failing to do something can result in removal from the guild.
Lazyness is not an excuse that will be accepted, be warned !
  • li>You and only you are responsible for your account, if you let a friend play your alt thats fine but you are accountable for anything they do. "It was my brother/sister/dog/uncles dogs" will not be an acceptable excuse for wrong doing.
Lazyness is not an excuse that will be accepted, be warned !
  • Dishonour to the guild will not be tolerated. The use of profanity, insubordination or being disrespectful in general towards other members of the guild will not be tolerated.
  • No officer is to abuse his or her powers. Punishment will result in demoting or banning** from the guild!
  • Any guild member found to be in violation of the guild rules will be given the opportunity to state his or her side of the situation before any action is taken.
  • In the guild we help each other in any way that we can. We will not charge our fellow guild members any money for anything they need. Instead, if the items are rare the guild member who wants it made must supply the creator with the rare resources that are needed to create the item.
  • Begging is forbidden at all times. You can request an item found by another member that you can use or materials for your profession but you must not ask for money or ask for an item that you can sell to make money. Each member has an equal chance to earn their own money throughout the game by questing or killing mobs. If you need money, kill something, its that simple.
Begging to the general public brings shame to the guild and can result in immediate suspension* and/or dismissal** from the guild.
  • * Suspension means removal from the guild for the length of your suspension. After this time you will be reinstated.
    ** Banning/Dismissal means permanent removal.

Rules for Raids, Dungeons and General Looting

  • Need or Greed - When you loot a mob and a green/blue/purple/special item drops the loot window will open asking you to pick Need (shown by dice) or Greed (shown by gold coin), the following comes into effect :
    Greed rolls are :
    - if you can not wear it, Roll Greed or Pass.
    - if you can not use it i.e. its a weapon you cant use, Roll Greed or Pass.
    - if you can wear it but you have better Roll Greed or Pass.
    - if you can use it i.e. its a weapon but you have better Roll Greed or Pass.
    - if you can not use it or it benefits you in no way except to make money, Roll Greed or Pass.
    - if you are an enchanter and want the item for your profession - if no one else needs it you may ask to roll Need, otherwise Roll Greed.
    Need rolls are :
    - if you can wear it AND its better than what you have, Roll Need.
    - if you can use it i.e its a weapon AND its better than what you have, Roll Need.
    - if its trade specific AND you can use it, Roll Need.
    - if its a quest item AND you can use it, Roll Need i.e. Argent Dawn Stones.
***You are forbidden from rolling Need on items for the sole purpose of selling them to make money. Everyone needs money because we are all greedy, so roll Greed!***

    - Exceptions to the above
It is common practice in lvl 55+ raids and groups to roll Need on Lock boxes, trinkets, 16 slot bags and Cards. While we dont all agree with this its something that we have to do or we will miss out. So feel free to roll Need.

    Other Possible Looting Situations
    - Questing or Grinding and you find a Chest - All type /roll, a random number is generated, the person with the highest number gets the chest.
    - Ore - if you are with other miners its good practice to roll on the ore veins to ensure everyone gets a fair chance at them.

*** Do not let the guild down by not following these simple rules, if you are not sure ask the raid, party leader first as some people/guilds have their own rules. Dont be known as a Ninja looter!! ***
  •

  • Grouping -
When on Raids or Dungeon runs you must listen to the Raid/Party Leader. This may be the actual Raid/Party leader (the one who created it) or it may be a more experianced member. Either way you must listen, we cant have everyone doing their own thing as it causes chaos and, more than likely, wipe outs. If you think you know better then /w the leader and let them know your thoughts, just shouting out causes everyone to do the same and no one gets anywhere.
If you are told to wait, wait!
If you are told to hang back, then hang back!
If you are told to shut up then do so, dont whine about it
  • Large Scale Raids (20+ people)
Raids like ZG, which require 20 people, can not have the /ra chat filled with "crap chat". ALL raids requiring 20+ people have the following additional rules.
    - each group has a spokes person that is decided at the start. Any ideas or questions are sent within /p chat to this person.
    - on the build up to a fight (and during) NO ONE except the party leader can use /ra chat. This should not need explaining. If you have a question tell the party leader who will put it forward in /ra chat.
  •

  • Pulling -
In most Raids/Parties there will be an appointed puller, this person is responsible for pulling the mobs towards the group. This person and this person only is to pull the mobs unless otherwise stated. If everyone starts firing at different mobs the group gets over run and possibly wipes as a result.
The assigned puller should always make sure the magic users have full mana and the team is healed before pulling.
